Glaitness School is one of two primary schools situated in the town of Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands. We offer provision for children aged 2-12 who live in the north-west sector of the town and the adjacent rural area.
We also provide additional support for pupils from any area in Orkney whose needs cannot be fully met within their own local school. Having once been two separate schools, we now have one fully inclusive school, extensively refurbished and adapted in order to meet the needs of all pupils.
